Most designers spec from a catalog. We design from what's outside our greenhouse , natives we've propagated and grown on this land since 1998. The result is a landscape built around plants we know thrive here.

From first walk to finished garden.
Every project starts with a conversation and a site visit. From there we build a plan that fits the property, the budget, and the timeline.
1. Site visit
We walk your property together, looking at light, soil, drainage, and what you want the yard to do for you.
2. Planting plan
A planting plan and species list drawn from our nursery, with notes on phasing and seasonal care.
3. Optional install
We can install the plan, or hand it off so you (or your contractor) can plant it on your own schedule.
