'Undaunted' Seep Muhly is a fine-textured native grass selected specifically for its ability to tolerate cold winters far north of its Texas homeland. In late summer and fall the plant erupts in a haze of pinkish-purple flower plumes that catch the light and seem to glow from within on sunny September afternoons. The plumes rise well above the tight mound of narrow foliage, creating an airy, billowing effect that moves in any breeze. The name tells you something important about the plant: it's tough. Hot summers, cold winters, dry soil, rocky conditions. it handles all of these without complaint. The pink-purple fall color transition makes it a standout in late-season border compositions and meadow plantings, and it holds its form and color well into winter.
